VegaResults provides a technical platform for the management, publication and consultation of sports results, standings, pairings, schedules and event-related data organized by third parties.
For the purposes of these Terms of Service, the following definitions apply:
Access to and use of the services provided by VegaResults are subject to full acceptance of these Terms of Service. Acceptance is required at the time of registration and, where applicable, when registering for tournaments through the platform. Without acceptance of these Terms, it is not possible to complete any registration or tournament entry.
The Organizer, including through the Arbiter, acts as the Data Controller of the personal data collected through the platform, determining the purposes and means of processing.
By using the platform, the Organizer appoints VegaResults as Data Processor pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, and remains responsible for compliance with the applicable data protection laws.
Registering for a tournament through VegaResults constitutes a request to participate addressed to the event Organizer. Submitting a registration request does not guarantee automatic admission to the tournament, which remains subject to the criteria established by the Organizer.
The player warrants that the data provided at the time of registration are truthful, accurate and up to date. By submitting the registration, the player accepts these Terms of Service and acknowledges the privacy information notice regarding personal data processing.
Personal data are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
Tournament registration for minors must be carried out under the responsibility of a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or legal guardian warrants that they have provided consent to the processing of the minor’s personal data and to the acceptance of these Terms of Service.
Data published on VegaResults (including, by way of example, results, standings, pairings and event information) are made available for informational and consultation purposes.
Reproduction and distribution of data, even in part, are permitted provided that the source VegaResults is clearly indicated with reference to the original website. Any user who reproduces or uses data taken from VegaResults must keep the source reference.
Any systematic, automated or large-scale reproduction of data (e.g., automatic scraping or unauthorized collection), as well as any use of data for commercial purposes without prior written consent from VegaResults, is expressly prohibited.
VegaResults does not claim rights over the official results of events, which remain under the competence of the organizing entities and federations, but protects its own activity of aggregation, presentation and publication of data, to the extent permitted by applicable database laws.
VegaResults reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently revoke access to the platform, without notice, for any user who uses the service in violation of these Terms of Service, applicable laws, or in a manner that may cause harm to the platform, other users or third parties.
Suspension or revocation may occur, by way of example, in case of improper use of the service, submission of false data, unauthorized automated use, violation of source attribution rules, or attempts to compromise the functioning of the platform.
VegaResults is provided as an informational and technical service without any guarantee of continuity, availability or permanence over time.
VegaResults reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, in whole or in part, the service at any time, including permanently, without any obligation of prior notice and without any right to compensation or damages.
Users acknowledge that data published on VegaResults do not constitute an official archive and must not be used as the sole source for organizational, legal or sporting obligations.
Unless otherwise specified, all editorial content, texts, graphics, logos, images, trademarks and software associated with the VegaResults platform are the exclusive property of VegaResults or their respective owners and are protected by applicable copyright and industrial property laws.
VegaResults is not responsible for the accuracy of data entered by organizers, nor for any errors, omissions or delays in the publication of information.
VegaResults is not responsible for deletions made voluntarily or by mistake by the organizer, nor for damages arising from improper use of data by third-party users.
VegaResults reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the website. Continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the changes.
