1. How to take a photo

For best results:

• Use good lighting and avoid shadows.
• Use your camera’s Scan or Document mode if available.
• Crop the image with a small border around the diagram.

2. "Load diagram image" button

Allows you to load a photo of a bridge diagram to be processed.

3. "Improve image" button

Applies a filter to enhance contrast and readability. Use it if OCR results are poor.

4. "Read cards" button

Runs OCR on the diagram, validates the hands, and performs DDS analysis to compute the par.

5. Edit PBN

The PBN section lets you:

• Create or choose a PBN archive.
• Edit board information manually (deal, contract, declarer...).
• Save the updated data.

6. "Play the detected board" button

Launches an interactive mode to play the detected hand like a bridge solitaire.
